About the role

We are looking for a passionate Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering capability group. Our ideal candidate is excited about being on project-based teams in a client-facing roles to architect and implement enterprise data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement enterprise data solutions
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and data architecture
• Wrangle, explore, and analyze data to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
• Build solutions for data collection and analysis
• Apply expertise across various use cases in different industries

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role
• Experience building and optimizing data pipelines and data architecture
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of big data tools, relational SQL and NoSQL databases, data pipeline and workflow management tools, stream-processing systems, scripting languages, and container orchestration
• Experience with one or more cloud service providers (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure)

Qualifications

• Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field degree
• Consulting experience is preferred

Skills

• Big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.)
• Relational SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server, Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.)
• Data pipeline and workflow management tools (Azkaban, Oozie, Luigi, Airflow, etc.)
• Stream-processing systems (Storm, Spark-Streaming, etc.)
• Scripting languages (Python, Java, C++, Scala, etc.)
• Container Orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)

$95,000 - $135,000
