About the role
The open position is within the Supply Chain domain. The incumbent will manage and engage client teams to understand, define, and develop data-driven solutions to meet client needs. You will develop and conceptualize sophisticated and innovative analytical solutions and actionable insights with a deep understanding of client business. You will also translate statistics to address client business problems.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-end consulting to clients to help sharpen their business strategy by implementing analytical models that support the realization of business objectives.
- Support the Supply Chain team in compiling, consolidating, and analyzing data for initiatives such as demand forecasting, inventory analysis, manufacturing insights, logistics, and RFI preparation.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain teams across functions.
- Lead major Supply Chain initiatives and drive them to closure.
- Serve as the thought leader in the focus area, act as the go-to person for internal teams, generate knowledge-sharing trends, participate in developing white papers, share new trends in analytics with colleagues, and evolve your own opinion on concepts.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience in Supply Chain analytics.
- Experience with Demand Planning, Forecasting, Inventory Optimization, and Network Optimization.
- Expertise in Python/R, SQL, Machine Learning, and Statistics Techniques (e.g., general linear model, linear regression).
- Hands-on supply chain analytics experience is mandatory.
Qualifications
- Good logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in predictive modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple types of data.
- Awareness of SAP data sets, syndicated sources, or custom research studies is a plus.
- Technical mastery in tools such as R, Tableau, QlikView, Python, or other visualization/analytics tools.
- Ability to mentor and lead teams.
- Self-starter with experimentation in Agentic AI, Generative AI, and productivity improvement.
- Process Optimization/Lean Manufacturing certifications (preferred).
- B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or a related technical degree, or equivalent.
Pay
The wage range for this role is $130,000 to $165,000 yearly, taking into account factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is provided, and compensation decisions depend on individual circumstances. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus for the current performance period.
