Business Advisor, SAP FICO

Position Summary

The Business Advisor serves as the liaison between business users across FMG and the IT department, ensuring technology solutions align with business objectives and drive continuous improvement. This role partners with stakeholders to analyze business needs, define requirements, troubleshoot issues, manage projects, develop solutions, provide user training, and lead complex cross-functional initiatives across multiple locations.

Essential Functions

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT, building strong relationships to understand business objectives, operational challenges, and opportunities for process improvement within Finance and Controlling functions.
• Analyze business processes and requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to identify solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and functionality while translating business needs into functional specifications.
• Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP FICO solutions, ensuring system capabilities align with business requirements and organizational goals.
• Manage project activities, including scope, schedule, cost, deliverables, user documentation, training materials, and end-user training to support successful solution adoption and continuous improvement.
