Business Adjunct Instructor
Compensation: $700.00 per credit hour (exempt, adjunct/part-time faculty position). Scheduled weekly hours: 20.
About the Role
An adjunct instructor is appointed on a term contract for instructional, temporary, and part-time assignments. They are not assigned other responsibilities such as professional service or college service and have no right to reappointment.
Minimal academic qualifications vary but generally require a relevant doctoral or equivalent terminal degree to teach at the upper division and graduate level, and a master’s degree for lower division courses. All degrees must be from accredited institutions or internationally reputable and recognized institutions. Exceptions may be made by the Provost with evidence of equivalent experience or credentials.
Adjunct Faculty members may serve as Faculty Senators only if they teach during the current semester or have taught within the last fiscal year.
