About the role

We are looking for experienced Business Account Executives (BAEs) with specialty sales experience to promote AMVUTTRA™. Patients with TTR amyloidosis often spend years undiagnosed and misdiagnosed. This role offers an opportunity to educate and enhance the market’s knowledge of TTR amyloidosis while collaborating with the local strategic team to support accounts. The BAE will identify and target healthcare providers and accounts managing patients with TTR amyloidosis to develop plans that increase brand awareness and product adoption within their assigned territory. This position reports to the Regional Business Director within its respective area.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target healthcare providers and accounts managing patients with TTR amyloidosis to develop plans that increase brand awareness and product adoption.
  • Continuously assess sales opportunities and challenges within territory and accounts to grow business.
  • Effectively prioritize and manage time, activities, and resources to optimize access to and development of high-potential accounts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians through pre-call planning, tailored call plans, and post-call analysis to refine approaches.
  • Proactively build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, adapting communication styles to drive alignment and meet goals.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across commercial, compliance, legal, market access, and patient care centers to ensure access at the site of care.
  • Develop individual account plans for key accounts and physicians, including strategies to achieve sales goals and maximize results.
  • Collaborate with key accounts and physicians to drive patient identification through market development and physician education.
  • Utilize resources such as programs, in-services, and in-office presentations to impact territory results.
  • Demonstrate and uphold the highest standards of integrity and compliance.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required to support business needs and organizational priorities.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree from an accredited college or university.
  • B2B sales experience required; 1-2 years of progressive and successful experience in biotech or the specialty pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and rapport with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of data analysis tools and ability to interpret simple datasets.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing environments and new methodologies under supervision.
  • Growth mindset with the ability to treat challenges as learning opportunities.
  • Adherence to all company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards to ensure compliant business practices.
  • Must be comfortable spending 60% of time traveling, including overnight travel to Boston, congresses, and within large geographical territories.
  • Driving is an essential duty; candidates must have a valid driver’s license, be insurable, and live within the assigned territory.

Pay

U.S. Pay Range: $119,000.00 - $161,000.00. Base pay will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, and education. This role is eligible for an annual short-term incentive award (e.g., bonus or sales incentive) and an annual long-term incentive award (e.g., equity).
