Business Account Executive
About the role
This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future. As an Account Executive at Spectrum Business, you’ll leverage your expertise to deliver essential communication solutions to small business clients.
Responsibilities
- Possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Manage sales and administrative tasks with multitasking ability.
- Quickly learn and apply knowledge to operate in a team environment.
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and interact professionally with others.
- Guide leads from initial contact through final sale, ensuring accurate records of sales activities, presentations, and closed deals.
- Collaborate with other business groups to ensure seamless order execution and exceptional customer service.
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions to stay current with Spectrum’s products and strategies.
- Simplify and enhance the customer experience through proactive communication and support.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent years of experience.
- Experience: 2+ years of sales experience or 2+ years of telecom or technical industry experience.
Qualifications
- Skills: Ability to read, write, speak and understand English; effective management of sales and administrative tasks; quick learner; demonstrated verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; driven, professional, and determined character; valid and active State driver’s license with safe driving record; reliable personal vehicle and car insurance.
Benefits
A comprehensive pay and benefits package is provided, including a base pay range of $43,800.00 to $72,500.00, with potential for additional incentive-based compensation such as bonuses. The actual compensation offered will consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This position has a commission earnings target starting at $54,000.00.

The base pay for this position generally is between $43,800.00 and $72,500.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
Schedule
Daily field-based, outside selling with frequent driving and walking. Occasional office-based work required when not in the field.
