Business Account Executive
About the role
At Spectrum, you will keep millions of customers connected across our footprint. As a Spectrum Business Account Executive, you will prospect for new small business customers within your sales territory and help sell solutions tailored to meet their unique needs.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for new small business customers within your sales territory
- Identify opportunities to sell secondary services including custom hosting, desktop security, data security and storage, etc.
- Build rapport and engage with prospective customers to determine their needs and present relevant product and service solutions
- Partners with a dedicated Account Coordinator for sales support and administrative tasks
- Maintain real-time, accurate records of all sales and prospecting activity through Salesforce
- Route all non-sales-related inquiries to customer service
Requirements
- Two or more years of sales experience or two or more years of telecom or technical industry experience
- A valid and active State driver’s license with a safe driving record
- A reliable personal vehicle and car insurance
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field, or equivalent years of experience
- Quick learner able to apply knowledge and operate in a team environment
- Driven, professional and determined character
- Effective management of sales and administrative tasks with multitasking ability
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Skills
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Business to business outside sales experience, exceeding goals, in either telecommunications or technical industry preferred
- Experience utilizing CRM systems (SalesForce)
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
