About the role

As a Spectrum Business Account Executive, you will prospect for new small business customers within your sales territory and help sell solutions tailored to meet their unique needs. Through our innovative products and services, we ensure that our customers stay connected to who and what matters most.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for new small business customers within your sales territory
- Identify opportunities to sell secondary services including custom hosting, desktop security, data security and storage, etc.
- Build rapport and engage with prospective customers to determine their needs and present relevant product and service solutions
- Partner with a dedicated Account Coordinator for sales support and administrative tasks
- Route all non-sales-related inquiries to customer service so you remain focused on achieving sales targets
- Maintain real-time, accurate records of all sales and prospecting activity through Salesforce
Requirements
- Two or more years of sales experience or two or more years of telecom or technical industry experience
- Absolutely valid and active State driver’s license with a safe driving record
- A reliable personal vehicle and car insurance
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field, or equivalent years of experience
- Quick learner able to apply knowledge and operate in a team environment
- Driven, professional and determined character
- Effective management of sales and administrative tasks with multitasking ability
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Skills
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Business to business outside sales experience, exceeding goals, in either telecommunications or technical industry preferred
- Experience utilizing CRM systems (SalesForce)
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
