Bus Operator (Full Time, Ogden)
Utah Transit Authority · Ogden, UT · 1 mo ago
On-siteManufacturing$20/hrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections where there is real specific content. We must not repeat job title. Must not include Job ID etc. Must remove boilerplate like EEO, legal, etc. Must preserve all substantive info.
We need to parse the description.
Key sections:
- About the role: description about being face of UTA, safety, customer service, training, etc.
- Responsibilities: list of duties: performing pre-trip/post-trip inspections, communicating info to dispatch, customers, supervisors, answering questions, collecting fare, following guidelines, etc. Also maybe "Report for assigned shift on time", "Meet schedule demands", "Perform physical requirements", etc. Could be responsibilities.
- Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: location, education/training, experience, age, driver license, violations, DUI, DOT medical card, pass written Class B CDL test, etc. Also physical requirements maybe.
- Qualifications: maybe same as requirements? But we can separate: Education/Training, Experience, etc. However we need to avoid duplication. The instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So we can combine similar items.
We need sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule.
We have Pay info: Pay Rate: $20.00/hr training up to 11 weeks, $25.75/hr after training with guaranteed pay increases every six months for next four years up to $30.00/hr.
Schedule: Not explicitly given besides "Report for assigned shift on time", "Meet schedule demands, scheduled shifts, and scheduled departures". Could infer schedule but not explicit. The rule: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless posting actually states them. Schedule: we have mention of shifts but not specific schedule like full-time, etc. It says "As a full-time Operator". So schedule: full-time. That's specific enough? It says "As a full-time Operator". So we can include Schedule section with that.
Benefits: detailed list: health, dental, vision, life/AD&D, short/long term disability, FSA, dependent care, domestic partner coverage, onsite clinics, PTO, holidays, retirement options, tuition reimbursement, training, career advancement, paid parental leave, free transit passes, EAP, UTA Well, fitness facilities, discounted cell phone, pet insurance. We'll include that.
Skills: maybe list of skills: communication, interpersonal, problem solving, ability to read training materials, operate buses safely, written reports, etc. Could extract.
We must not include boilerplate like EEO, legal, drug-free workplace, etc. Must remove those.
We must not include duplicated lines.
We must preserve all substantive info.
Let's extract substantive info:

We need to output HTML with sections.
We'll create:

Qualifications
Maybe we can combine education/training and experience? But we already have Requirements covering many. Could have Qualifications for education/training and experience? But we risk duplication. Perhaps we can have Requirements for mandatory qualifications (location, age, driving record, etc.) and Qualifications for education/training, experience, skills. However we need to avoid thin sections. Given instruction: Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So maybe we combine Requirements and Qualifications into one section? But we need to follow the list of allowed headings; we can omit sections if no content. So we could output only About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. That's 6 sections. That's fine. We need to include Skills? Could embed within Responsibilities or Requirements. But we could add Skills section if we have specific skill list: communication, interpersonal, problem solving, reading comprehension, report writing, safe operation, etc. That could be substantive. But we already have many items in Requirements that are skills. Might be redundant. Given we need to include sections only when posting has real specific content. We have content for Skills (communication, interpersonal, problem solving, reading training materials, preparing reports, operating buses safely). So we could add Skills. But we must avoid too many thin sections. Let's decide: We'll include About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. That's 7 sections. Now we need to ensure we don't include filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present. Now craft HTML. We'll need to escape any special characters? Not needed. We'll produce:About the role
