About the role
This is a closed-loop, employee-only route transporting SEA Airport employees to and from airport facilities. You will operate 40' passenger buses with automatic transmissions, performing routine pre and post trip visual inspections, reporting defects, and using a radio system.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport SEA Airport employees to and from airport facilities.
- Perform routine pre and post trip walk around visual inspections to check for damage to vehicle and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Report any defects to duty supervisor and file appropriate trip reports using inspection application.
- Use a radio system to communicate with other drivers, supervisors, and base operations via established radio procedures.
- Attend training and staff meetings as required.
- Respond to airport emergencies as needed.
- May be required to monitor fuel levels and perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Valid Washington State Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A or B with a Passenger (P1) endorsement.
- Department of Transportation Health Card.
- Experienced in providing excellent customer service and problem resolution.
- Experience operating 40' passenger buses with automatic transmissions.
- Must be able and willing to work all assigned shifts, including weekends, and work during emergencies.
- Work in all types of inclement weather, in congested traffic, and may be exposed to fumes from CNG and/or other fuels.
- Washington State residency requirement within 30 days of employment.
- Overtime eligible.
- Comply with all work rules, safety, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Pass a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background check and a criminal history background check with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Pay
Minimum Salary: $31.06
Schedule
This is a seven day a week and twenty-four hour a day facility. Normal work schedule will vary.
