Bus Driver / Custodian -- Mount Desert Elementary School

About the role

Mount Desert Elementary School is seeking a daily driver for an established morning and afternoon route with opportunities to drive for field trips during the school day and extra-curricular events after school. Custodial work during the school year and summer will allow for 40 hours per week year-round.

Responsibilities

• Drive established morning and afternoon routes
• Prepare buses for transportation
• Assist students with loading and unloading buses
• Drive for field trips and extra-curricular events
• Perform custodial duties during the school year and summer

Requirements

• Class B school bus license required
• Training provided for qualified candidates

Pay

$2,000 sign-on bonus

Schedule

• School Year: 30 hours per week of bus driving plus 10 hours of custodial work (optional)
• School Year: 40 hours as custodian (optional)
• Summer: 40 hours as custodian (optional)
