Bus Driver

About the role

The Bus Driver plays a vital and heartfelt role in enriching the lives of residents at Westview Nursing and Rehab. They help create a joyful and engaging environment where seniors feel seen, heard, and valued through creativity, supportive presence, teamwork, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, age-appropriate activities that suit different physical and cognitive abilities.
• Connect with residents, understanding their emotional and social needs.
• Work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents, cooperating closely with the care team.
• Balance daily schedules, manage multiple residents, and prepare for activities.

Requirements

• Must be 25 years of age or older.
• Good standing and current Operator’s License.
• A high school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Completion of a State-approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the State.
