Bus Driver

About the role

We are looking for a part-time bus driver for our summer camp program for school-age children. Applicants must have a Class B with air brake, passenger and school bus endorsements, preferably with a current VDOT physical. Our bus is a 72 passenger. Summer Camp runs from June 12th to Aug 25, 2023.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and staff on required trips during the school year (one to two field trips per month, all local trips)
• Sweep and refuel the bus as needed
• Report any mechanical issues with the bus to the Director

Requirements

• Class B license with air brake, passenger and school bus endorsements
• Must successfully complete a full background check
• Must complete or have a First Aid/CPR certification

Benefits

Compensation based upon length of time applicant has held a CDL license.
