Bus Cleaner

About the role

Arrow Stage Lines is seeking a full-time motorcoach detailer/cleaner to join our team in Kansas City, MO. This role is essential in maintaining our fleet's pristine condition for passengers, including athletic teams, tour groups, and chartered events. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a typical schedule of 5:00 pm - 1:00 am, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Use power sprayers to wash the exterior of vehicles.
• Clean the interior of vehicles, including overhead luggage bins, seats, kick panels, footrests, and lavatory areas.
• Clean all windows and window frames.
• Sweep and mop floors of vehicles.
• Clean the driver compartment area.
• Complete miscellaneous finishing touches, such as emptying and cleaning wastebaskets, managing lost items, and spraying air freshener.
• Perform end-of-shift procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• One year of professional vehicle detailing, janitorial, or cleaning experience.
• Reliable transportation and regular attendance.
• Ability to work the assigned schedule from beginning to end.
• Experience using power wash machines and tools like wash brushes and squeegees.
• Ability to lift 25-30 pounds.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is helpful.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work with various cleaning soaps and chemicals.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Skills

• Ability to work in a team or individually.
• Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods.
• Ability to open bus bay doors and operate pressure washers and wash machines.
• Comfortable working in wet, hot, and cold conditions in a maintenance shop environment.

Pay

$20 per hour.
