Bus Cleaner

Duties

• Use power sprayers to wash exterior of vehicle.
• Clean inside of vehicle to include overhead luggage bins, seats, kick panels, footrests, and lavatory area.
• Clean all windows and window frames.
• Sweep and mop floors of vehicle.
• Clean Driver compartment area.
• Ensures miscellaneous finishing touches are completed (i.e. wastebaskets are emptied and cleaned, place lost items in lost and found, spray air freshener, etc.).
• Performs end of shift procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• Reliable transportation and regular attendance (work assigned shifts).
• Able to use power wash machine and use repetitive motion with machine and wash brushes, squeegees, etc.
• Able to lift 25-30 lbs.
• Mechanical knowledge is helpful.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Able to pay attention to detail.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to work with various cleaning soaps and chemicals.
• Able to work in a team, as well as individually.

Required Experience

• One year of cleaning experience.
