Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to learn about and ensure student safety
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Punctual
  • Consistently reports to work
  • Completed required trainings before interacting with students

Essential Functions

  • Supervises students and work with a wide range of various needs, including physical, behavior and social
  • Ensures students follow bus safety guidelines before, during and after transport
  • Guides each student toward making appropriate choices and accepting responsibility for their own behavior
  • Alerts the bus driver and transportation director to any problem or special information regarding an individual student
  • Consistent reporting to work, adhering to scheduled shift times and notifying the transportation director of any absences or lateness

Monday through Thursday 6:45-9:00a; 1:30p-4:00pm and Friday 6:45-9:00a; 12:45p-2:30pm
