Maintain Order on Buses

Maintains order on the bus according to state law and District policy by monitoring student behavior.

Cleaning Duties

• Assist in the cleaning the bus including floors, seats, windows, exterior, and disposing of trash.

Record Keeping and Documentation

• Keeps records of all warnings and prepares behavior incident documentation when appropriate.

Conferences and Communication

• Attends conferences with principals and parents when behavior becomes an on-going problem.
• Acts as a liaison between staff, student and parents by promoting positive relations between the school, students and parents.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly stands, walks and sits.
• Frequent exposure to work near moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions.
• Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
• Occasional exposure to work in high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration.
• Noisy environment.
