Burn Table Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Read and accurately interpret engineering prints, blueprints, and nesting layouts to determine exact part dimensions and cutting paths.
• Set up, calibrate, and safely operate CNC burn tables (plasma and/or oxy-fuel) to cut and shape structural steel plates.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment to safely load raw steel plates onto the table and unload finished parts.
• Strictly follow all safe operating policies, guidelines, and procedures to maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
• Adapt to production needs and perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to read and accurately interpret industrial blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience operating CNC burn tables, plasma/oxy-fuel cutters, forklifts, or overhead cranes is highly preferred.
• Open to coaching, continuous learning, and constructive feedback to improve operating skills and efficiency.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while staying focused and consistently on task.
