Burn Table Operator
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all company safety rules and procedures
- Follow operational instructions outlined by plate processing manager
- Maintain accurate records of part numbers, job numbers, and cut sheets
- Keep work area organized, clean, and safe
- Report any dimensional discrepancies to the plate processing manager or QA/QC team
Requirements
- Prior experience in operating burn tables preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Able to operate handheld grinders, overhead cranes, forklifts, be able to read a tape measure, and lift 50 lbs.
- Good communication skills for reporting and coordination
- Able to maintain an organized and clean work environment
Physical Demands
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods (8-12+ hour shifts)
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl for prolonged periods
- Reach overhead and work with arms extended
- Climb ladders, work in manlifts up to 25 feet above ground
- Work in confined spaces and at elevated heights when required
Schedule Requirements
- Ability to work extended hours, including overtime, weekends, or swing shifts as needed to meet project deadlines
