Responsibilities

• Consistently set up die boxes, ensure proper alignment, ensure correct dies and lubricant are being used
• Consistently set up by measuring wire diameter between each draw
• Inspect material during processing to ensure proper quality is maintained
• Complete all documentation and turn in work order to supervisor
• Train new operators, if necessary
• Ensure work area is neat and properly maintained
• Properly use a micrometer
• Operate a crane and a forklift
• Cut samples for quality control
• Assist production manager and other operators as necessary
