Bulk Shipping Receiving Operator
About the role
Our Shipping and Receiving Operator position is designed for a Full-time, Second Shift role from Monday to Friday, 11:00 am - 7:30 pm. You'll be part of a 2025 USA Great Place to Work certified company, fostering a culture where you can love what you do and be your best every day.
Responsibilities
- Small package shipping, picking orders, shipping orders
- Forklift operation
- Filling work orders, handling bulk lubricants
- Maintain accurate inventory through the use of the warehouse management system
- Safe and efficient operation of vehicles and tools in the warehouse
- Operating mechanical and hydraulic pumps in the warehouse and on tanker trucks
- Handling multiple hoses/connections to load and offload product by the gallon
- Operating in-house pumps to fill totes, drums, and pails for work orders
- Following bulk standards and processes to ensure Safety, Quality, Service, and Productivity
- Sustaining the condition of hoses, connections, and pumps
- Picking orders and loading freight using forklift and/or pallet jacks
- Receiving vendor receipts and transfers
- Inspecting materials for nonconformities and following non-conforming processes if necessary
- Using the warehouse management system and scanners to maintain accurate inventory
- Wrapping pallets securely for shipment
- Preparing hazardous materials for shipment, including completing DOT HAZMAT paperwork as necessary
- Packing cartons correctly and stacking cartons on pallets
- Transferring bulk products into drums, totes, and pails
- Following work instructions according to company policies and procedures
- Adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One or more years in a warehouse setting preferred
- Forklift certification preferred
- Working knowledge of a Warehouse Management System or ERP system preferred
- Effective communication skills to maintain positive relations with team members
- Able to stand, walk, and repeatedly climb into and out of truck tractor or forklift several times throughout the day
- Able to lift and carry 25 to 60 lbs. occasionally and lift more than 60 lbs. intermittently
- Attention to detail and high level of flexibility
- Knowledge of quality management systems and inspection processes
- Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions in English
- Basic math skills
- Personal Protective Equipment must be used intermittently while working with certain hazardous materials

Pay
The anticipated hiring range for the role is between $20 and $25 hourly. This range is based on several factors, including experience, qualifications, education, market and industry benchmarks, and internal equity.
Schedule
The role is available as an Hourly, Full time (Second Shift) position from Monday to Friday, 11:00 am - 7:30 pm.
