Bulk Plant Operator

Duties/Responsibilities

• Aid in unloading trucks and verifying product
• Refill drums, pails, and totes with product
• Organize product in designated locations
• Greet and assist customers
• Operate cash register
• Fuel bulk customers
• Load vehicles with product for delivery
• Make product deliveries using flatbed or bulk truck
• Process daily paperwork, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
• Record bulk tank readings
• Empty disposed oil drums into underground tanks
• Manage and store bulk inventory reports and used oil tank readings
• Control and maintain warehouse gates and lube bay
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of outdoor and indoor areas

Requirements

• Occasional weekend hours required for inventory, product filling, and warehouse cleaning
• Overtime or extended hours may be required during emergencies
• Exposure to refined oil products containing chemicals that may cause certain illnesses or reproductive toxicity
• Exposure to odors and vapors from refined petroleum products
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Outdoor work in various weather conditions required
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Capacity to move drums weighing up to 400 lbs.
• Capability to carry buckets of oil weighing up to 35 lbs.
