About the role

As a Full-Time Production Associate (Bulk Operator IV), you will play a key role in our production facility, ensuring smooth operations while maintaining food safety and compliance. This position involves rotating through various roles and shifts, supporting team members, and upholding our commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Utility Operators: Maintain and operate utility systems and equipment, perform sanitation duties, and ensure food safety compliance to support production processes.
• Bulk Operators: Load bulk delivery vessels, perform sanitation duties, and ensure compliance within the bulk department to support production.
• Elevator Operators: Operate and maintain elevators or lifts, move raw materials (e.g., grains or ingredients) throughout the facility, and perform sanitation duties to maintain food safety.
• Warehouse Operators: Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, forklift operation, and distributing raw materials and finished products, while maintaining food safety standards.
• Pack Operators: Operate packing equipment, process and pack products, and perform sanitation duties to ensure compliance and efficient packaging.

Physical requirements

• Ascend and descend stairs multiple times per day.
• Climb ladders, steps, and extensions.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and exert 20 pounds of force.
• Frequently stand, walk, rotate, bend, stoop, twist, crouch, kneel, balance, and reach at or below shoulder level.
• Work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and loud noise, while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), such as a dust mask or respirator.
• Work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).
• Must be clean-shaven where respiratory protection (e.g., N-95 dust mask) is required to ensure a proper seal.

Pay

Starting hourly range: $22.00 – $24.00, with additional earning potential based on experience. Eligible for an annual performance bonus (target: 5% of base pay). Shift differential provided for eligible employees working outside standard business hours.

Schedule

12-hour 3rd shift. Work schedules may vary based on business needs and could include overtime, weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities.

Location: Chattanooga, TN (1B Riverside Lane, Chattanooga, TN 37406). This is an on-site role requiring regular presence at the production facility.
