Bulk Merchandiser - Burlington/Hillsboro Area
Job Description
Merges products including stocking shelves, rotating shelved products, setting up displays, cooler stocking/rotation, storage room organization, and moving products from storage to the sales floor.
- Fills and merchandises all coolers, displays, racks, shelves, and/or vendors in accordance with PBV standards.
- Sells and executes all promotions.
- Creates and utilizes point-of-sale signage.
- Develops good customer relations.
- Serves all customers as scheduled.
- Orders product and/or runs invoices.
- Cleans equipment and maintains backroom storage in an orderly fashion – rotates stock.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED, highly preferred.
- Three to five years of relevant work experience, may be considered, in lieu of a high school diploma or GED.
- Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Able to perform basic financial calculations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good driving habits.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
Educational Background
High school diploma or GED highly preferred.
Experience
Three to five years of relevant work experience may be considered, in lieu of a high school diploma or GED.
Physical Demands
- Constantly (67%-100%) required to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and push/pull 300 – 2400 pounds with the assistance of a pallet jack.
- Frequently (34%-66%) required to walk.
- Occasionally (0%-33%) required to climb and sit.
