Bulk Manager

Overview

The Bulk Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market oversees the maintenance, packing, and stocking of all bulk foods featured at Sprouts. They ensure proper packaging and scaling of bulk items, fill bulk bins, prepare, wrap, and price bulk packages accurately and legibly. They also manage inventory, rotate products using code dates, and adhere to the company's cleaning and sanitation program. The role involves compliance with safety, health, Weights & Measures, and COOL regulations, communicating standards, expectations, and policy changes, and providing customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• 1-2 years of experience in a retail grocery environment and 1 year of managerial leadership experience
• Dependable and reliable with the ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of weekly ad items and product location within the store
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Possession of a working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals
• Outgoing and friendly behavior along with a positive attitude towards Team Members and customers
• Able to move vertically/horizontally transferring product weighing up to 50 lbs., from 4” to 36”, for a distance up to 4 feet for up to 15 hours without mechanical assistance
• Continuous standing for up to 4 hours, for a total of 8 hours per shift
• Able to perform other related duties as assigned
