About the role
Are you eager to build partnerships with our retailers? This role allows you to manage your own accounts by focusing on selling products and promotions while showcasing your merchandising skills. Be the retailer's Coca-Cola subject matter expert by being responsible for all selling, merchandising, and inventory needs. The Bulk Account Merchandiser (BAM) is responsible for selling, ordering, and presenting products.
Responsibilities
- Execute commercial plans for customers on daily, pre-set routes.
- Utilize communication skills (listening, speaking, and writing).
- Unlock competitive nature daily to drive sales and meet targets.
- Stock, merchandise, and rotate all beverage sections and displays in stores.
- Manage all ordering aspects of the position, maintain proper inventory levels, minimize shrink, and organize back rooms.
- Build all displays sold locally or through other agreements.
- Communicate and provide direction to Merchandisers and Specialists supporting your territory on your days off.
- Generate sales orders based on assigned delivery frequency to ensure day-to-day operational success and contribute to financial performance (revenue, volume, and gross profit).
- Execute promotions, new products, and monthly Look of Success (LOS) initiatives to ensure excellence in RED (Right Execution Daily) scores.
- Fill, merchandise, and rotate products on display and shelves according to procedures and special programs.
- Organize and maintain back rooms by stacking and arranging products, managing returns of empty pallets, shells, damaged, and out-of-date products.
- Create and distribute point-of-sale materials on displays and shelves where permitted.
- Maintain Fastlane merchandisers and vendors, ensuring proper operation.
- Foster business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-ups, proactive pricing, and discussions on special programs or new opportunities.
- Identify and communicate competitive issues or market activities that could impact business (e.g., pricing, new packaging, changes in strategy).
- Execute all job duties in a safe working manner.
Requirements
- Valid in-state driver’s license.
- Excellent driving history.
- Proof of insurance policy verifying current coverage of liability and property damage at no less than $50,000 per person/$100,000 per accident insurance per occurrence/$50,000 property damage and $500 or less deductible effective from the first day of employment.
- High School Education / GED.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).

Pay
$54,000 - $55,000/year (Base Day Rate + Commission)
Schedule
- 5 consecutive days a week, including weekends.
- Shift: 5 am start time until completion of the route.
- Weekend days off will either be Friday/Saturday or Sunday/Monday.
Work Environment
The work environment will vary, including exposure to weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas which may be non-temperature controlled.
