Bulk Account Sales Merchandiser

Locations: South Boston; Clarksville

Pay

$54,000 - $55,000/year, plus mileage reimbursement

Schedule

5 consecutive days a week including weekends; shift: 5am start time until completion of the route. Weekend days off will either be Friday/Saturday or Sunday/Monday.

About the Role

This role allows you to manage your own accounts by focusing on selling products and promotions while showcasing your merchandising skills. Be the retailer's Coca-Cola subject matter expert by being responsible for all selling, merchandising, and inventory needs. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel from store to store. This route will service customers in South Boston, VA and Clarksville, VA areas.

Responsibilities

• Execute commercial plans for customers on daily, pre-set routes
• Generate sales orders based on assigned delivery frequency for each customer
• Execute promotions and new products based on target lists, monthly Look of Success (LOS) initiatives, marketing promotions, Point-Of-Sale, and commercial plans
• Ensure excellence in RED (Right Execution Daily) scores for assigned customers
• Fill, merchandise, and rotate products on display and shelf according to procedures and special programs
• Organize and maintain back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor, arranging the return of empty pallets and shells, and managing damaged and out-of-date product
• Create and distribute point-of-sale materials on displays and shelves where permitted
• Rotate product, fill, and merchandise Fastlane merchandisers and vendors; check vendor operation
• Foster business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests, proactive pricing, and discussions on special programs and new opportunities
• Identify and communicate competitive issues or market activities that could impact the business
• Execute all job duties in a safe working manner
• Responsible for communication and providing direction to Merchandisers and Specialists that support your territory on your days off

Requirements

• Valid in-state driver’s license
• Excellent driving history
• Proof of insurance policy to verify current coverage of liability and property damage at no less than $50,000 per person/$100,000 per accident insurance per occurrence/$50,000 property damage and $500 or less deductible effective from the first day of employment
• High School Education / GED
