About the Tour
Take part in our distinctive expedition just for women and rejuvenate your senses! This 9-day, 8-night journey covers key cultural and historical sites across Bulgaria, including Sofia, Veliko Tarnovo, Tryavna, Kazanlak, Zheravna, Plovdiv, Devin, Melnik, and the Rila Monastery.

Itinerary
- Day 1: Sofia – Arrival in Sofia. Meet and greet with your tour guide. Overnight stay in Sofia.
- Day 2: Sofia – Veliko Tarnovo – Tryavna (290 km) – Drive to Veliko Tarnovo to learn about women in power during the Second Bulgarian Kingdom. Continue to Tryavna for local crafts, martenitsa-making, and icon-painting traditions. Overnight stay in Tryavna.
- Day 3: Tryavna – Kazanlak – Zheravna (230 km) – Explore the Valley of Roses and Thracian Kings, create your own perfume, and visit the UNESCO-listed Thracian tomb of Kazanlak. Learn about Balkan cuisine, herbs, and wines in Zheravna. Overnight stay in Zheravna.
- Day 4: Zheravna – Plovdiv (220 km) – Visit Plovdiv, one of Europe’s oldest cities, including the Bishop’s Basilica and Ethnographic Museum. Free time in the artists' quarter of Kapana. Overnight stay in Plovdiv.
- Day 5: Plovdiv – Devin (100 km) – Drive to Devin in the Rhodope Mountains for mineral springs and a visit to the Devil’s Throat Cave, linked to the Orpheus legend. Overnight stay in Devin.
- Day 6: Devin – Ribnovo – Melnik (200 km) – Discover Ribnovo’s unique wedding customs, then travel to Melnik, Bulgaria’s smallest town, known for its wines. Overnight stay in Melnik.
- Day 7: Melnik – Rila Monastery – Sofia (250 km) – Visit the UNESCO-listed Rila Monastery, then return to Sofia. Overnight stay in Sofia.
- Day 8: Sofia – City tour of the Bulgarian capital and free time. Overnight stay in Sofia.
