About the role

As the Coordinator of Receptions, Shipments, and Inventory, you will participate in the daily coordination of national and international receiving and shipping activities. You will ensure smooth logistics operations, adherence to deadlines, compliance of shipments and receptions, and provide excellent service to internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and optimize transportation (clients, subcontractors, warehouses)
• Prepare and validate shipping documents (invoices, delivery slips, customs documents, etc.)
• Ensure deadlines are met and manage priorities with agility
• Coordinate the reception of components
• Ensure accuracy of stock quantities
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and client teams (production, purchasing, customer service)
• Manage merchandise returns
• Purchase out-of-stock merchandise (production supply, etc.)
• Perform any other related tasks

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in managing shipments and receptions in an industrial environment
• University degree in transportation logistics, operations management, or equivalent training
• Good knowledge of international transportation (customs procedures, an asset)
• Proficiency in computer tools
• Experience with an integrated management software (ERP) for industry (SAP, an asset)
• Autonomy, rigor, and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Agility in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
