Key Responsibilities
- Develop new commercial banking relationships while maintaining and expanding an existing portfolio of business customers.
- Generate new business leads through networking and outreach within the local business community.
- Call on prospective and existing clients to identify cross-selling opportunities and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
- Meet or exceed branch goals related to deposits, business development, and cross-selling initiatives.
- Promote and establish Business Solutions products, including Cash Management, Merchant Services, and Select Pay.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for business customers regarding treasury management products, questions, and service needs.
- Open new business accounts and assist customers with debit cards, credit cards, check orders, wire transfers, and Business Solutions setup.
- Maintain accurate documentation of prospecting activities, customer interactions, and business development efforts.
- Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate concerns when appropriate.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately while maintaining compliance with applicable banking regulations and internal policies.
Required Skills & Background
- College Degree.
- Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent customer service, verbal communication, and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Demonstrated understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
Preferred Skills
- Strong network within the Dallas area.
- Experience promoting treasury management or business banking products.
- Experience working with commercial or business banking customers.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
