About the role

Built It, Fixed It, Figured It Out — That's Who We're Looking For. Not every problem comes with instructions. That's why we're looking for someone who's been there before. If you've spent 20 years or more building homes, fixing problems, remodeling kitchens, hanging doors, repairing drywall or doing whatever it took to get the job done right, then you already know what this work is about.

This isn't production work. You won't spend six months doing the same thing every day. Every morning brings a different job and a different challenge. One customer needs a deck repaired. Another needs a door replaced. The next house has drywall damage, trim work, tile repairs or a list that's been waiting way too long to get finished.

Responsibilities

You'll handle all kinds of residential repairs and improvements, including:

• Finish carpentry and trim work
• Drywall repair and painting
• Door and window repairs
• Light plumbing
• Light electrical
• Flooring and tile repairs
• Deck, fence and exterior repairs
• General home repairs and small remodeling projects

Requirements

You're probably a good fit if you:

• Have 20 years or more of real hands-on experience
• Can work across several trades, especially carpentry
• Know how to solve problems without waiting for someone else
• Take pride in work that looks good and lasts
• Treat customers the way you'd want your family treated
• Show up on time and do what you said you'd do
• Have a valid driver's license
• Own your everyday hand tools

Our office schedules the jobs, talks with the customers, handles the paperwork and keeps your calendar full. You do what you do best. No chasing work. No slow months. No wondering where the next paycheck is coming from.

Pay

$25 to $45+ an hour, depending on experience, plus bonuses and customer tips.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, with a company van provided.
