Building-Waste Water-Rending Maintenance (Nights)

About the role

Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and maintain piping (underground and above ground), sinks, mixers, toilets, urinals, pipe and drain plugs, and related plumbing. Repair and maintain evaporative coolers and exhaust fans. Troubleshoot, fabricate, repair, and replace doors, door frames, hinges, handles, and closures. Prepare and paint metal, wood, and street surfaces as needed. Repair, replace, and maintain epoxy hard flooring, asphalt, and concrete surfaces. Perform general fabrication functions (cut, shear, bend, weld) for maintenance, repair, or building of shelves, covers, and related items. Maintain, repair, and replace paper towel and soap dispensers. Perform general cleaning and assist other areas as needed while maintaining safety, housekeeping, and proper sanitary procedures.

Pay

$31.75 per hour. Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am and 4:59am.

Schedule

Rotating Tuesday–Saturday / Sunday–Thursday work weeks. Overtime, weekends, and hours dictated by production equipment requirements may be required.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of building and facilities maintenance experience
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision; ability to lead a small crew of pool maintenance people on weekends
• Ability to interact positively with Plant Production and Maintenance personnel to resolve maintenance issues
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Trained in lock-out tag-out and safe work practices
• Ability to bend, stoop, walk, and stand for prolonged periods
• Ability to climb and work from ladders and in confined spaces safely
• Ability to work from high altitudes, catwalks, and roofs
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds
• Ability to work on wet concrete floors
• Ability to pass a test at the appropriate skill level for this position
• Ability to submit and pass a criminal background check
• Ability to lead groups of pool employees
