Responsibilities Building Code review of drawings, shop drawings, etc.Preparation of Code compliance drawings, reports, letters, alternative solutions, etc.Conduct site reviews and prepare field review reports.Attend meetings, presentations, occupancy demonstrations, etc. Skills And Qualifications A graduated Technician or Technologist with educational focus in Architectural and Building Technologies (experience in Civil, Mechanical and Structural disciplines is an asset).Experience using Bluebeam, Adobe, AutoCAD LT, Sketchup, Excel, Word, etc.Knowledge of Parts 3 and/or 9 of the Building Code.Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing).Ability to read and interpret building design drawings (drafting skills are an asset).Team oriented and able to work individually.Valid BC Driver’s License. GHL offers a competitive salary and benefits package. Commensurate with experience, salary range of $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per annum plus benefits and eligibility to participate in profit sharing.
