Building Systems & Low Voltage Mobile Service Technician
About the role
tdgFacilities is seeking a full-time Building Systems & Low Voltage Mobile Service Technician in Greater Cincinnati, Ohio. Our teams are dedicated to supporting the needs of our diverse customer base.
Responsibilities
- Work across various building systems including low-voltage wiring, access control systems, security devices, intercoms, building automation, and control systems.
- Troubleshoot and install low-voltage cabling, security systems, and building automation components.
- Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections, and replace or upgrade equipment as needed.
- Document work performed, equipment information, deficiencies, and recommended repairs.
- Collaborate with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other facility technicians when necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience in low-voltage systems, security/access control, CCTV/surveillance systems, building automation, and commercial electrical work.
- Comfortable using meters and diagnostic tools, understanding basic electrical and low-voltage principles.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, able to work independently in commercial facilities.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Manufacturer-specific certifications or training in access control, security, building automation, networking, or controls are a plus but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with low-voltage, security, controls, electrical, or commercial maintenance systems.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams, equipment documentation, and basic schematics.
- Comfortable working independently in commercial facilities.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Schedule
Typically, Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm (with occasional on-call responsibilities shared within a team rotation).
Pay
$24 to $29 per hour.
