Building Subcode Official / Building Inspector

Applicants must possess a valid license as an HHS Building Subcode Official issued by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, as well as a valid NJ driver's license.

About the role

Under direction of the Construction Official, has subordinate administrative responsibility for administering the Building Subcode of the NJ State Uniform Construction Code. Inspects all buildings and construction projects to ensure compliance with plans and specifications. Performs other related duties as needed.

Starting salary: $87,394.
