Responsibilities
- Ensure inspections comply with Florida building codes, local ordinances, and other relevant standards.
- Conduct and oversee inspections in areas such as building, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and structural integrity.
- Ensure all inspections, reports, and documentation are completed accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure open communication and high customer satisfaction.
- Cook up with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery and compliance with client requirements.
Requirements
- A strong understanding of the Florida Building Code, including updates, and relevant regulations.
- A State of Florida Building Inspector License (BN).
- Any combination of the following licenses:
- Residential Building Inspector (B1)
- Commercial Building Inspector (B2)
- Commercial Electrical Inspector (E2)
- Commercial Mechanical Inspector (M2)
- Commercial Plumbing Inspector (P2)
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in private provider inspections and possess extensive knowledge of Florida building codes and certifications.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in inspection software and digital reporting tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong knowledge of private provider inspection requirements and processes in Florida.
