Overview Kimley-Horn's Saint Paul, Minnesota (MN) office is seeking a Structural Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 1.5+ years of experience to join their Building Structures team. Responsibilities Develop skills as a project manager by assisting with the management and leading of small projectsDevelop full sets of structural drawings and technical specifications without guidancePerform structural design calculations, plan production activities, and prepare project document submittal packages, while maintaining a Quality Control program for the entire projectLead and provide support for construction phase efforts on building projects in structural engineeringSupport and participate in meetings and presentations with clients, contractors, and design team membersServe as a technical and professional mentor to entry-level and developing engineers Qualifications 1.5+ years of relevant engineering design experienceKnowledge and experience in AutoCAD and Revit, with some ability to produce drawings and details, when neededKnowledge and experience in structural analysis and design software, such as RISA, RAM, E-Tabs, MathCAD, TEDDS, ADAPT PT, ENERCALC and other structural related design softwareStrong sense of urgency and self-discipline to meet client deadlinesDetail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environmentAbility to multi-task and work on a variety of projects concurrentlyPassion and demonstrated drive to achieve goalsExcellent communication, leadership, and technical skills with a continuous mindset on personal and staff development Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000 Why Kimley-Horn?
