Building Services Worker

About the role

The Building Services Worker cleans, sanitizes, and maintains appearance of Athletic Facilities. Provide discretion when utilizing and maintaining assigned spaces.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, buff, and wax floors.
• Dust and clean chalk boards and offices.
• Wash windows, walls, trash cans and glass doors.
• Empty trash.
• Frequently works from a ladder.
• Replaces light bulbs.
• Cleans and polishes brass.
• Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Operate polishing machine and vacuum cleaner.
• Clean assigned team meeting and locker rooms.
• Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

Knowledgeable of cleaning materials. Ability to operate vacuum cleaners/shampoo machine. Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.

Skills

Physical Demands: Stoop, squat, and bend. Climb ladders. Lift 25 lbs or more. Driving as needed to perform job duties.
