Building Science + Infrastructure Consulting Internship (Level 1)

Responsibilities

• Conduct field observations associated with existing facilities.
• Perform facilities‑related services including roofing and waterproofing, fireproofing and firestopping, exterior insulation finish systems (EIFS), anchor testing, coring, scanning, material sampling, leak investigations, and forensic investigations.
• Interact and communicate effectively with site contractors, other technicians, and project managers.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing an Associate, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or a related field.
• Interest in building forensics, mechanical systems, and structures.
• Physical ability to carry 40–70 lb repeatedly throughout the day and occasionally lift up to 85 lb to waist height.
• Provide suitable transportation for use on job sites (mileage will be reimbursed).
