Building Science & Infrastructure Consulting Internship (Level 1)

About the role

Primarily field-based work to observe first-hand the challenges that arise during facilities projects and the engineering considerations that need to be made during the process. This internship focuses on assisting with consulting services for the built environment, primarily building envelope projects.

You will work alongside other team members conducting field observations associated with construction services, existing building diagnostics, and capital planning. The role involves significant field work, with some travel required to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with consulting services for building envelope projects and other facilities-related initiatives.
• Conduct field observations for construction services, existing building diagnostics, and capital planning.
• Travel to project sites as needed.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work both in a team environment and independently.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must provide suitable transportation for job sites (mileage will be reimbursed).
