Responsibilities
- Work with Project Management Team to quickly buyout a project at commencement, including preparation and distribution of subcontract and purchase order agreements with required compliance attachments
- Track compliance of all subcontractors and material suppliers
- Scan and enter invoices from subcontractors into Viewpoint
- Review material tickets daily that are received from the field to ensure accuracy of coding
- Review AP unapproved invoices daily, code or forward to Project Management Team for coding
- Load weekly payment to subcontractors as payments are received from owners
- Prepare owner and subcontractor change orders
- Preparation of monthly project billings
- Effectively communicate with Project Managers and Principals in Charge regarding contract documents and change orders related to billing
- Work with Project Managers to keep accounts receivables current on projects
- Monthly analyzing of projects with Project Managers to prepare for financial closing
- Prepare and distribute job cost analysis reports
- Process weekly certified payroll reports for prevailing wage projects
- Collect and manage payrolls from subcontractor on prevailing wage projects
- Directly assist project management teams with any duties required to complete projects on time and within budget
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Prior Accounting experience required; Construction Project Accounting strongly preferred
- 2-4 Year post-secondary degree preferred
- Computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office required, Vista/Viewpoint preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Strong organization, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to work with all personnel within the organization and facilitate communication effectively
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to be a team player, flexible, and able to work in fast paced and changing environment
