Essential Duties & Responsibilities Oversees O&M Structural, Plumbing, Fabrication, HVAC/R, Electrical and EMCS Shops, and other functional areas as assigned.Provides day-to-day guidance and direction to subordinates.Possess the ability to quickly reallocate resources to respond to duty approved emergency/urgent requirements.Acts as technical advisor for all matters relating to assigned functional areas.Reviews shop maintenance plans, work orders, and other facility repair activities for completeness, proper method, quality of accomplishment, and availability of materials both before and after work.Establishes unique work standards, enforcement of commercial/industrial standards, and priorities of work.Inspects work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, policies, regulations, and standards, supports the project Quality Control Plan as require to achieve objectives.Provides space, tools, test equipment, and materials for functional areas.Implement methods and procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.Supports the project Safety Plan through personal involvement in all aspects of safety, including training and attention to the adherence to safety requirements pertaining to particular trades and skills.Ensures subordinate employee time records reflect an accurate record of hours worked and job order numbers to which time is changed.Performs other related duties as assigned.Timely and cost-effective performance of duties.Supervising all aspects of assigned personnel.Harmoniously working with other employees and customers.Working with other Facility Managers and Project Manager to outline work to be done, after which incumbent is expected to work independently.Demonstrated ability understanding high level HVAC system, electrical, and controls troubleshooting and repair.Demonstrated ability using and understanding automated controls systems for HVAC and/or electrical systems.Knowledge operating CMMS within IBM Maximo programs to track work orders. Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED EquivalentLevel of Experience Requirements: Facility manager with 10+ years of management experience.Osha 30 general industryUST C operator certifiedHeart saver First aid CPR/ AED certifiedFacility Management Professional (FMP)Must be a US CitizenMust have an Active TS/SCI clearance w/ poly Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, And Other Characteristics Knowledge of organizational procedures and workflows – understanding how work moves through a company.Basic knowledge of relevant technologies or tools – e.g., Microsoft 365, communication platforms, or industry‑standard software.Knowledge of customer service practices – principles of providing quality service and managing inquiries professionally.Knowledge of data privacy and confidentiality principles – awareness of proper handling of sensitive information.Communication skills (written and verbal) – ability to convey information clearly and professionally.Time management and prioritization – balancing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.Problem‑solving and critical thinking – analyzing issues and selecting appropriate solutions.Interpersonal and teamwork skills – building rapport and collaborating effectively with others.Attention to detail – producing accurate, error‑free work.
