About the Role
Pedrollo Group USA is seeking a proactive, hands-on Building Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, clean, professional, and fully operational workplace. This role is responsible for facility maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, light janitorial duties, office improvements, and general building support.What You'll Do
- Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, locks, and other building systems.
- Complete preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Perform minor carpentry, drywall, painting, and general building repairs.
- Assemble and install office furniture, shelving, televisions, monitors, whiteboards, artwork, signage, and other fixtures.
- Assist with office moves, workspace reconfigurations, and facility improvement projects.
- Maintain exterior grounds and coordinate snow removal and landscaping as needed.
- Perform routine light janitorial duties including cleaning common areas, breakrooms, conference rooms, and high-touch surfaces.
- Monitor the overall appearance of the facility and proactively address housekeeping and maintenance needs.
- Pick up maintenance supplies and materials from local vendors.
- Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and inventory.
- Cook up with outside contractors when specialized repairs are required.
- Support emergency response efforts and occasional after-hours facility needs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
Qualifications
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of building maintenance, facilities, or general repair experience
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Working knowledge of: HVAC systems, Electrical systems, Plumbing, General maintenance tools and equipment
- Reading technical manuals and safety procedures
