Building Maintenance Tech I

Assist leads and manager/supervisor with Building, HVAC, and Electrical systems including monitoring and trending, troubleshooting, and repairs. Work closely with operations—including Warehouse, Safety, Security, and Human Resources—to achieve common goals.

Responsibilities

• Complete weekly preventative maintenance within established time-lines
• Responsible for daily communication of all pertinent information regarding building infrastructure, systems operation, and maintenance to departmental management and maintenance teams
• Perform work in assigned areas including, but not limited to, welding, carpeting, painting, rebuilding, and operating equipment
• Responsible for housekeeping and clean-up of all maintenance areas, rooms, and project areas on a daily basis
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 0–2 years of experience in Building or Electrical Maintenance
• 0–2 years of general maintenance experience
• Physical ability to operate equipment as necessary

• Specialized knowledge in building, HVAC, and electrical systems
• Proficiency in welding, carpeting, painting, and equipment operation
• Strong communication and teamwork
