BUILDING MAINTENANCE HELPER - OAHU

Duties Summary

Performs routine manual and semi-skilled tasks and assists a building maintenance worker or a skilled building tradesperson in building maintenance and repair work relevant to the carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical trades; and perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

• Legal Authorization To Work: Citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.

• Experience and Training: TWO (2) YEARS of work experience in performing a variety of building maintenance repair work, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

• Driver's License: Some positions require possession of a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.

• Special Requirement: This position requires a Forklift Certification within 6 months from the date of hire.

Testing Information

• The examination for this recruitment will be conducted on an unassembled basis where the examination score is based on an evaluation and rating of your education and experience.

• In-person interviews and/or further testing in Hawaii may be required at the discretion of the hiring agency.
