Building Maintenance

Job Description The Building Maintenance role is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and functional shop environment at Triosim's Montgomery, AL facility. This role supports daily shop operations through general facility maintenance, material handling, and vehicle-based logistics, while providing backup support for surface preparation and coating tasks including sandblasting and painting. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor, work areas, restrooms, and common spaces, including sweeping, mopping, and general housekeeping duties. Load and unload incoming and outgoing deliveries, verifying quantities and condition of materials, parts, and equipment. Perform pressure washing of shop equipment, company vehicles, parts, and facility surfaces as directed. Provide backup support for painting and abrasive blasting (sandblasting) operations, following established safety and surface-preparation procedures. Operate a company vehicle to complete parts runs, pick up supplies, and deliver packages between the Montgomery facility and vendors, customers, or other company locations. Perform routine building maintenance and minor repairs; report facility and equipment issues to the Shop Supervisor. Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing painting, blasting, pressure washing, and material handling tasks. Qualifications & Requirements Prior experience in a shop, warehouse, industrial maintenance, or similar physical labor environment preferred. Ability to safely operate pressure washing equipment and assist with abrasive blasting/painting equipment (on-the-job training provided). Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean, acceptable driving record (see Compliance & Legal Requirements below). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, climbing, and repetitive motion for extended periods. Ability to work safely around industrial chemicals, coatings, and abrasive materials.
