Job Summary

This position is responsible for day-to-day buildings maintenance responsibilities which results in professional and high quality work completed in an efficient and cost effective manner.

Ministry Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide professional and high quality work in the day-to-day maintenance of the buildings at the Billy Graham Training Center
• Diligent in the performance of work and in communications to the Supervisor
• All work and movement to the next task will be done with productive effort and planning
• Coordinate positively with the Supervisor, and communicate needs for materials and equipment to complete the task at hand
• Know and implement with excellence construction and maintenance practices in carrying out the work
• Follows positively the directions given by the Supervisor
• Discern when assistance is required in making routine decisions regarding the best way to proceed in a particular maintenance situation
• Committed to the implementation of the Safety Program regarding safety practices and only uses equipment for which they have been trained to use
• Work as a team member with fellow staff members in such a way that is edifying and encouraging for the good of the department
• Represent the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association with the highest integrity

Job Specifications

• Experience as a construction or maintenance worker in a particular specialized field valuable to the Billy Graham Training Center's Maintenance Department
• Performance of work with the highest degree of quality and workmanship
• Detailed knowledge of the operational use of maintenance and construction equipment, tools, and safety equipment pertinent to the kinds of work performed
• Basic reading and mathematical skills normally acquired through completion of high school
