Building Maintenance Assistant

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests and support the overall upkeep of the property.
• Perform guest room preventative maintenance duties such as painting, battery replacement, smoke detector checks, and HVAC cleaning.
• Maintain the grounds, landscaping, outbuildings, and parking areas in a clean, neat, safe, and attractive manner.
• Assist in maintaining the pool, spa, and general areas of the property according to specific local codes and brand standards.
• Promptly respond to reports of guest problems and concerns.

Requirements

• Prior hotel, building, or apartment maintenance experience is desirable but not required.
• General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building construction.
• Operation knowledge of common power and hand tools.
• Ability to perform task-oriented repetitive functions consistently, on-time, and error-free.
• Ability to be patient and creatively problem-solve.
