Building/Grounds Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
• Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Plans repair work using building blueprints or equipment manuals as needed.
• Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician (e.g., repairing drywall, painting, replacing light bulbs, repairing doors and other building fixtures).
• Performs routine maintenance on building systems and tests the functionality of safety systems.
• Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
• Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
• Checks control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
• Installs necessary appliances and equipment as needed.
• Maintains grounds, including grounds upkeep.
• Performs necessary cleaning activities, such as dusting, mopping, trash removal, etc.
• Collaborates with a team of workers and other professionals during renovations and facility expansions.
• Reports to CEO regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress.
• Performs other duties related as assigned.
