Building Envelope Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • Provide project management and technical oversight for building envelope, facilities, and roofing projects from initial assessment through completion.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear, professional communication throughout each project.
  • Conduct building enclosure assessments, including roofing, façade, and waterproofing evaluations, litigation support, field testing, and distress investigations.
  • Conduct and/or oversee field investigations such as moisture intrusion evaluations, non-destructive testing, and fenestration/façade testing.
  • Support the preparation of design and construction documents for roof replacement, building enclosure rehabilitation, glazing replacement, and related remediation efforts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in building enclosure and/or roofing consulting.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building envelope systems, including constructability, integration, durability, thermal performance, and long-term maintenance.
  • Ability to clearly and professionally communicate technical findings to clients and project teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; technical report writing is a key component of this role.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

  • Preferred certifications include Registered Roof Consultant (RRC), Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC), Registered Exterior Wall Observer (REWO), Registered Roof Observer (RRO), Certified Infrared Thermographer (CIT).
  • Professional Engineer or Licensed Architect certification is a plus.
